The primary purpose of Elisad is to enable those working in the field of alcohol and drugs - and facing common challenges - to exchange ideas and experiences and - through networking and interaction with each other -to develop their professional knowledge, skills and work. Elisad has produced an Addictions Gateway that provides multilingual descriptions of and links to over 1000 evaluated European websites and other Internet resources on the use and misuse of drugs including those of Central and Eastern European countries
